केंद्र सरकार ने मंगलवार को कहा कि पाकिस्तान में गलती से दागी गई मिसाइल के लिए वायुसेना के 3 अधिकारियों को बर्खास्त किया गया है। इसी वर्ष की शुरुआत में भारत की ब्रह्मोस मिसाइल गलती से शूट हो गई थी।
वायुसेना ने अपने बयान में कहा कि एक ब्रह्मोस मिसाइल गलती से 9 मार्च 2022 को दागी गई थी। घटना के लिए जिम्मेदार 3 अधिकारियों की सेवाओं को तत्काल प्रभाव से समाप्त कर दिया गया है।
कोर्ट ऑफ इंक्वायरी (सीओए) ने इस घटना की जांच में पाया कि 3 अधिकारियों ने मानक संचालन प्रक्रिया (SoP) का पालन नहीं किया। उस घटना के बाद रक्षा मंत्रालय ने ‘गहरा खेद’ जताया था।
एक आधिकारिक बयान में कहा गया है कि 9 मार्च को गलती से एक ब्रह्मोस मिसाइल दागी गई थी। इस घटना को लेकर जिम्मेदारी तय करने सहित मामले के तथ्यों को स्थापित करने के लिए गठित कोर्ट ऑफ इंक्वायरी (कर्नल) ने पाया कि तीन अधिकारियों द्वारा मानक संचालन प्रक्रिया का पालन नहीं किया गया।
बयान के अनुसार इन तीन अधिकारियों को घटना के लिए मुख्य रूप से जिम्मेदार ठहराया गया है। केंद्र सरकार ने उनकी सेवाएं तत्काल प्रभाव से समाप्त कर दी हैं। अधिकारियों को 23 अगस्त को बर्खास्तगी के आदेश दे दिए गए हैं।
