उपायुक्त ने कहा कि रक्तदान महादान है क्योंकि रक्तदान से जिंदगियां बच सकती है। इसके लिए सभी को बढ़-चढ़ कर आगे आना चाहिए।
उन्होंने कहा कि जिले की जनसंख्या का एक प्रतिशत रक्त यूनिट ब्लड बैंक में हमेशा उपलब्ध होना चाहिए। जिससे जिलावासियों को गंभीर बीमारी या आपात स्वास्थ्य स्थिति के समय रक्त की आवश्यकता को पूरा किया जा सके।
