ट्रेन एक्सीडेंट : कंचनजंगा एक्सप्रेस हादसा में अबतक 8 यात्रियों की मौत, हादसे के बाद कैंसिल हुई ट्रेनें का चेक करें लिस्ट

- बारिश के कारण बचाव कार्य में दिक्कत
प.बंगाल/कोलकाता : पश्चिम बंगाल के सिलीगुड़ी में सोमवार सुबह कंचनजंगा एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन हादसे का शिकार हो गई। ट्रेन कोलकाता के सियालदाह स्टेशन जा रही थी और सिलीगुड़ी के रंगापानी क्षेत्र में एक मालगाड़ी ने पीछे से उसे टक्कर मार दी। हादसे के बाद बोगियां एक-दूसरे के ऊपर चढ़ गई हैं।
दार्जिलिंग जिले के एडिशनल एसपी अभिषेक रॉय ने बताया कि हादसे में अब तक 8 लोगों के मरने की खबर है। इसके अलावा 30-45 लोग घायल हैं।
मौके पर पहुंची राज्य सरकार और रेलवे की टीमें राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों में जुट गई हैं। हालांकि वहां जारी बारिश के कारण राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों में दिक्कत आ रही है। स्थानीय लोग भी उनकी मदद कर रहे हैं।
रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने एक बयान में कहा कि रेलवे के “वरिष्ठ अधिकारी मौके पर पहुंच गये हैं”। उन्होंने कहा, “एनएफआर जोन में दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण हादसा हुआ है। बचाव कार्य युद्धस्तर पर जारी है। रेलवे, एनडीआरएफ और एसडीआरएफ पूरे तालमेल के साथ काम कर रहे हैं। घायलों को अस्पताल पहुंचाया जा रहा है।

पश्चिम बंगाल के न्यू जलपाईगुड़ी में हुए ट्रेन हादसे पर राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने शोक जताया है। इसके साथ ही प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय ने कंचनजंगा एक्सप्रेस हादसे में जान गंवाने वालों पीड़ित परिवारों को 2 लाख रुपये और घायलों की 50 हजार रुपये की आर्थिक मदद देने का भी ऐलान किया।
प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय ने एक्स पर लिखा कि ‘प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने घोषणा की है कि पश्चिम बंगाल में रेल दुर्घटना में मारे गए प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के परिजनों को प्रधानमंत्री राष्ट्रीय राहत कोष से 2 लाख रुपये की सहायता राशि दी जाएगी। घायलों को 50,000 रुपये दिए जाएंगे’।
राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने रेल हादसे पर दुख जताते हुए लिखा, ”पश्चिम बंगाल के दार्जिलिंग में हुए रेल हादसे में लोगों की मौत की खबर बेहद दुखद है। मेरी संवेदनाएं और प्रार्थनाएं शोक संतप्त परिवारों के साथ हैं। मैं घायलों के शीघ्र स्वस्थ होने की कामना करती हूं”।
